About Tiffany
Hello. I’m Tiffany Phillips, the founder of Restoring Hope Therapy Services. Originally from Northern California, I graduated Cum Laude from San Jose State University in 1995 with a B.A. in Child Development. In 1998, earned a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Tennessee and West Virginia.
I bring professionalism, experience, and a commitment to meet you exactly where you are. My training in attachment and systems theory, allows me to understand how your development and family background influence your world, while simultaneously attending to your experiences in the therapy room. In addition to being an AAMFT Clincial Fellow and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate, I am an advanced trained Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, a Certified EMDR Clinician, and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (iaedp).
I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, ensuring that therapy follows a structured method with proven interventions aimed at facilitating healing. Sessions are not “just be talking about your week”; they are an active journey toward progress. Initiating a search for a therapist is a significant step and I’m glad you’re here. I hope this website will answer some of your questions and I look forward to joining you on your therapeutic journey.
About Samantha
Two weeks after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor's Degree in Media Studies and a minor in Social Media, I set out on a journey to join the world of corporate events in Nashville. Soon after my move, I started participating in group therapy, an experience that was truly transformative. Learning how to navigate relationships effectively within a safe and supportive environment provided me with a deeper understanding of myself and my place in the world. This experience ignited a desire within me to assist others in a similar manner. I knew that I wanted to make a positive impact on people's lives by becoming a therapist. I enrolled in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Trevecca University, where I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree. My ultimate objective is to empower individuals and couples to feel heard and valued within their lives and relationships. I firmly believe that everyone deserves to feel understood and supported, and I am fully committed to contributing to that reality. I am excited to join Restoring Hope Therapy as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern.
